Summary: The Scrum Master will lead a team in transitioning an on-premise solution to the cloud for a care sector solutions provider, ensuring timely delivery within budget. This role requires the establishment of product management and development processes in an unstructured environment. The Scrum Master will prioritize project tasks, manage sprints, and shield the development team from distractions. Strong communication and assertive leadership skills are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement product management and development processes.
- Analyze the project, prioritize tasks, and groom the roadmap.
- Set clear deliverable sprints for development and QA teams.
- Shield development teams from distractions and confusion.
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies and ensure Sprint goals are defined.
- Collaborate with product, ops, and marketing teams for effective communication.

Scrum Master needed by provider of solutions to the care sector to help deliver a specific product / project on time to budget. Hybrid 2 days/week Southampton / Bournemouth. Outside IR35. No sponsorship available. The Scrum Master will work with a specific team who's task is to port an on premise solution to the cloud in a tightly defined time frame. There are no real product management or development processes or structures in place at present, so the Scrum Master will have to define and implement these and then drive the team to success. The Scrum Master will analyse the complete project, prioritise and groom the roadmap and then set clear deliverable sprints for the development and QA teams. A key task for the Scrum Master will be to shield the development teams from any internal or external distractions that may pull them away from the task at hand or create confusion or indecision, so a confident and assertive style is a prerequisite. The Scrum Master will work with the product, ops and marketing teams to ensure smooth hand offs and ebnsure effective communications between the dev and QA teams. The Scrum Master will facilitae all Scrum ceremonies and ensure Sprint goals are clearly defined and achievable. The Scrum Master must be a clear and confident communicator, have experience implementing best prsactice into unstrcured environments and ideally have helped with an on prem to cloud transformation.
