Summary: The role of Scrum Master involves joining a Data Agile Release Train to support data engineering and analytics delivery across one or two Scrum teams. This hands-on position requires proven experience in agile methodologies, particularly within a SAFe/ART setup, and is set in a large-scale agile environment. Financial services experience is preferred, along with strong facilitation and coaching skills. The contract is for 6 months with a potential extension, based in South West England with a hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support data engineering, platforms, and analytics delivery within Scrum teams.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies and ensure adherence to Scrum principles.
- Coach team members and remove impediments to progress.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align on project goals and deliverables.
- Work within a SAFe/ART framework to enhance team performance.
Key Skills:
- Proven Scrum Master experience in data-focused teams.
- Hands-on delivery within a SAFe/ART setup.
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and impediment removal skills.
- Experience in complex, enterprise environments.
- Desirable: SAFe SSM/CSM/PSM certification and experience with Jira or Azure DevOps.
