Summary: This role as a Scrum Master is focused on supporting a multidisciplinary software engineering team in developing complex embedded systems for surgical operating rooms. The position requires coordination across various functions to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met while managing scrum ceremonies and project roadmaps. The Scrum Master will play a crucial role in facilitating communication and alignment among engineering, product, and leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities:

This role is aimed at supporting the Software Engineering team by structuring work. It involves working with a talented multidisciplanry software team developing a complex embedded system for the surgical operating room. It requires coordinating across functions (HW, RA, QA, Product, Systems, etc) to ensure the correct definition of done is laid out for all work going into the sprint, and ensuring PI plans across the roadmap accurately capture future work and realistic timings. The team develops embedded software products used inside the operating theatre , capturing video and real-time data from surgeries and other sources. These insights help build an ecosystem for surgeons to make data-driven decisions during operations.

Candidate Requirements:
Experience Level: Mid–Senior
Background: Strong experience working with embedded software or robotics development teams (MedTech background is a plus but not required.)
Methodology: While Agile/Scrum certification is preferred, hands-on experience managing teams in hybrid Agile–Waterfall environments is more important.
Technical Context: Must understand product development for embedded systems (not web, iOS, or Android applications).
