Summary: The Scrum Master role is a 6-month contract position within a Global Insurance company, requiring expertise in GRC programmes and a background in insurance or financial services. The position emphasizes building strong relationships, facilitating agile ceremonies, and ensuring alignment among stakeholders to deliver business value. The Scrum Master will work closely with the Delivery lead, Business, and Product Owner to create a roadmap and drive the team through sprints. The role is based in London, requiring two days a week on-site attendance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish strong relationships and trust within the team and with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the Delivery lead, Business, and Product Owner to create a roadmap for the programme.
• Break initiatives and Epics into manageable changes for regular delivery cycles.
• Ensure the team understands the vision for change and align stakeholders accordingly.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies and support documentation and Epic creation.
• Understand current practices and their alignment with desired changes.

Key Skills:

• Experience with delivery teams in agile environments and driving business value.
• Proficiency in Jira and Confluence for supporting Agile methodologies.
• Experience in GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) programmes.
• Strong teamwork, coordination, organization, and planning skills.
• Problem-solving skills to maximize team effectiveness.
• Desirable experience running scrum teams for SAAS applications and exposure to OpenPages.
