Summary: Atrium EMEA is seeking two experienced Scrum Masters to lead Agile teams in a major regulatory-change delivery programme for one of the UK's top five banks. The role focuses on delivering critical risk-data and risk-reporting improvements under BCBS 239 and Basel III/IV frameworks. Candidates must have a strong background in financial services and experience with enterprise-level clients. The position is hybrid, requiring two days on-site in either Central London or Central Glasgow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide teams in delivering BCBS 239 standards for risk-data aggregation and risk-reporting.

Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in large-scale regulatory or remediation programmes.

We’re looking for two experienced Scrum Masters with recent experience working with top-tier, enterprise-level financial services clients to lead Agile teams through the delivery of critical risk-data and risk-reporting improvements under BCBS 239, Basel III/IV and relevant PRA/FCA frameworks. Your background with large financial services organisations will be key to steering best practice and stakeholder alignment.
Rate: £400–£500 per day (Inside IR35)
Locations: Hybrid – 2 days per week on-site in Central London or Central Glasgow (candidates must live within a commutable distance to their chosen location)
Duration: Initial 12-month contract
Key Project
You’ll guide teams delivering BCBS 239 – the global standard for risk-data aggregation and risk-reporting – ensuring regulators’ requirements for accurate, timely data are met across stress and normal conditions. This programme is pivotal to strengthening the bank’s risk-management capabilities and achieving full regulatory compliance.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven Scrum Master experience on large-scale regulatory or remediation programmes (e.g. BCBS 239, Basel III/IV, PRA/FCA compliance) within enterprise-level financial services clients
- Agile pedigree: CSM, PSM or equivalent Agile certification; track record of coaching teams, facilitating all Scrum ceremonies, removing impediments and driving continuous improvement
- Domain knowledge: familiarity with banking risk domains (risk-data aggregation, finance/treasury, credit-risk) and regulatory frameworks (BCBS 239, Basel III/IV)
- Stakeholder engagement: exceptional communicator, able to work with business, technology and risk teams to keep delivery on track
- Contract stability: evidence of longevity in previous assignments (minimal short stints)
- Banking exposure: experience within a top-tier UK bank or similar enterprise-level financial services client is imperative and must be recent
