Team Overview: The Scrum Master for the Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) Engineering group within the Core Infrastructure division is responsible for overseeing and managing the firm's global physical and virtual server infrastructure. This involves tasks such as evaluating, certifying, and integrating products like hardware, hypervisors, the Linux operating system, critical infrastructure services (DNS, DHCP, NTP, etc.), and virtualization management technologies. A significant portion of the work involves enabling the adoption of DevOps practices through infrastructure-as-code approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Join the team in Glasgow and facilitate Agile adoption for two squads.
  • Improve team performance in value addition, flow rate, quality standards, predictability, and continuous improvement.
  • Apply Agile methodologies to manage and deliver solutions.
  • Lead Agile ceremonies and manage workflows through Jira.
  • Create and deliver reporting frameworks for team members and management.
  • Train and mentor squad members in Agile techniques.
  • Work with product owners on managing roadmaps, backlogs, and new requests.
  • Monitor progress and guide teams in implementing effective changes.
  • Cultivate a productive environment where team members take ownership and enjoy their work.

Skills Required:

  • Experience as a Scrum Master or Service Delivery Manager.
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum and Kanban techniques, ceremonies, and artifacts.
  • Familiarity with software development teams and projects.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
