Summary: Ampa is seeking a Scrum Master for their Applications & Development division on an initial 18-month contract. The role involves facilitating and coaching scrum teams in the debt systems area to enhance continuous improvement and support debt solution implementation. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead agile ceremonies for the Debt Systems, including business as usual and new build solution implementation
  • Support Debt Manager and Product Owners to prioritise and groom the backlogs
  • Guide scrum teams to help them stay on track with agile techniques and ceremonies
  • Communicate with Business Change, PMO, other Technical Teams, Product Owners, and Architects to ensure clear goals and quality delivery
  • Support Change and Release Management processes as part of the software development lifecycle
  • Become familiar with legacy and new debt systems, integrated solutions, backlogs, and current roadmaps
  • Maintain ceremony schedule and create effective metrics and dashboards
  • Lead daily scrums and build relationships with team and stakeholders

Key Skills:

  • A minimum of 2 years demonstrable track record working as a scrum master or similar role
  • Experience leading a high performing scrum team
  • Knowledge of business requirements prioritisation techniques
  • Understanding of Scrum/Agile Principles
  • Experience with analysis, reporting, and visualisations of current progress and past outputs
  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience with Low Code Platforms/Case Management Systems: Debtrak, Sharedo, Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar

Ampa are looking to add a Scrum Master to their growing Applications & Development division on an initial 18-month contract. This role is to facilitate and coach the debt systems scrum teams to deliver continuous improvement and support our debt solution implementation.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead agile ceremonies for the Debt Systems, including business as usual and new build solution implementation
  • Support Debt Manager and Product Owners to prioritise and groom the backlogs
  • Guide scrum teams to help them stay on track with agile techniques and ceremonies, fine-tuning approaches as needed to ensure the overall strategy is being met
  • Communicating with Business Change, PMO, other Technical Teams, Product Owners, and Architects to make sure goals are clear assuring quality of delivery
  • Supporting Change and Release Management processes as part of the software development lifecycle
  • Having the knowledge and experience to appropriately challenge and lead in conversations around requirements and proposed technical solutions

What you will need:

  • You will need to have significant previous experience with:
    • Leading a high performing scrum team
    • Introducing or Increasing standard of Agile adoption in an organisation
    • Knowledge of business requirements prioritisation techniques
    • Scrum/Agile Principles
    • Analysis, reporting and visualisations of current progress and past outputs
    • Azure DevOps
    • Stakeholder management
    • Communicating
  • Experience with the following tech stack would be beneficial:
    • Low Code Platforms/Case Management Systems: Debtrak, Sharedo, Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar
