Summary: The Scrum Master role is a 6-month onsite position in College Park, Maryland, requiring a minimum of 6 years of experience in a ScrumMaster capacity. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies: Standups, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Review, Sprint Planning.
• Coach and mentor the team to build a high-performing group and strengthen understanding of Agile/Scrum concepts.
• Ensure alignment of agile team’s actions with project goals and maintain visibility of progress to stakeholders.
• Identify and implement improvements for agile teams and the organization through Agile/Scrum principles.
• Assist the Product Owner and agile team in identifying trade-offs between short- and long-term benefits.
• Prioritize transparency and communication to build trust with business leaders.
• Utilize JIRA/Confluence and other software to help agile teams visualize their work.
• Deep understanding of project management methodologies and testing methodologies.

Key Skills:

• Minimum of 6+ years in a ScrumMaster position.
• Agile Certifications (CSM, PSM I, PSM II, PSK I, PK I).
• Extensive experience with JIRA/Confluence.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban), Waterfall, Lean.
• Experience in coaching and mentoring teams.
