Summary: We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join a high-performing delivery team within a leading Financial Services organisation in Central London. This role focuses on driving agile delivery across multiple squads, managing cross-product dependencies, and supporting large-scale data initiatives. The ideal candidate will thrive in complex environments and work confidently across various teams and stakeholders. This is a 6-month contract position with potential for extension, classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives) across multiple squads
- Manage and coordinate cross-team dependencies to ensure smooth delivery
- Support and guide teams in adopting and maturing agile practices
- Work closely with Product Owners, Delivery teams, and stakeholders to ensure alignment
- Remove impediments and drive continuous improvement within squads
- Oversee delivery across data-focused teams including Analysts and Engineers
- Support delivery of data migration and transformation programmes
- Maintain and optimise workflows using Jira
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master, with the majority of your career in this capacity
- Strong track record of working across multiple squads simultaneously
- Previous experience within Financial Services, ideally Asset Management
- Demonstrated experience working with Data teams and delivering data migration/transformation projects
- Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with Jira
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to manage complexity and drive delivery in fast-paced environment
