A leading asset management firm is looking for a hands-on Delivery Lead with strong Front Office (FO) experience. The focus of the role is working closely with technology teams to deliver software, ideally through in-house development. Initial 6 month contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of technology solutions, ensuring software is delivered on time and to the required standard.
- Work closely with developers, technical leads and Product Owners to prioritise work and resolve blockers.
- Run Agile/Scrum ceremonies and help improve team delivery and ways of working.
- Work with Front Office stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate these into deliverable technology solutions.
- Manage delivery risks, dependencies and issues, keeping the team focused on progress and outcomes.
Key Skills & Experience
- Experience as a Delivery Lead, Technical Delivery Manager or Scrum Master within a technology environment.
- Strong Front Office knowledge, within asset or investment management.
- Hands-on experience working with development teams to deliver software, preferably through in-house builds.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum and the software development lifecycle.
- Comfortable working with developers, technical leads and business stakeholders.
- A practical, delivery-focused approach, with an emphasis on getting software built and delivered rather than traditional project management and governance.
