Summary: The role of Scrum Master involves facilitating Scrum ceremonies and managing the change backlog within a technical team. The position requires a strong technical background and experience in Agile development, particularly in the financial services sector. The Scrum Master will collaborate closely with project managers and product owners to ensure project milestones are met while managing risks and dependencies. This is a hybrid role based in Glasgow with a contract duration until the end of December 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitation of all Scrum ceremonies, including daily scrum calls and backlog prioritization.
• Providing clear and structured status updates to various stakeholders and consumers.
• Liaising with project managers or product owners to keep them updated on progress against milestones, risks, issues, and budget control.
• Providing input to the technical development approach of a project, balancing cost, time, quality, and risk.
• Assisting in the identification, management, and resolution of technical risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAIDs).

Key Skills:

• Certified Scrum Master with proven experience in Agile development environments.
• Thorough understanding of the full end-to-end software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Good skills in servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
• Hands-on technical experience in software and solution design across distributed and integrated architectures.
• Experience working in financial services.
