Summary: A global financial services institution is seeking an experienced Scrum Master/Agile Coach to support two technology delivery teams within their Markets and Risk Intelligence function. The role emphasizes driving Agile best practices, enhancing delivery discipline, and fostering collaboration among engineering, product, and business teams in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support multiple teams within complex technology delivery programmes in banking or financial services.
- Drive Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban, tailoring approaches based on team maturity.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and promote continuous improvement across delivery teams.
- Coach and upskill teams and stakeholders transitioning to effective Agile practices.
- Support backlog management and prioritisation, collaborating with Product Owners and Business Analysts.
- Identify and remove impediments, manage cross-team dependencies, and maintain delivery momentum.
- Utilize JIRA and Confluence for workflow management, reporting, and delivery tracking.
- Define and leverage Agile metrics to enhance predictability and transparency.
- Manage stakeholder communication, bridging technical and non-technical audiences.
- Work effectively in regulated enterprise environments with governance and multiple vendors.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master and/or Agile Coach.
- Strong hands-on experience with Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.
- Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and driving continuous improvement.
- Ability to coach teams transitioning from traditional delivery models to Agile.
- Experience in backlog management and prioritisation.
- Expertise in identifying impediments and managing dependencies.
- Experience using JIRA and Confluence.
- Ability to define and leverage Agile metrics.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Comfortable in regulated enterprise environments.

Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master and/or Agile Coach, supporting multiple teams within complex technology delivery programmes in banking or financial services.
- Strong hands-on experience with Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban, with the ability to tailor approaches based on team maturity and context.
- Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, reviews) and driving continuous improvement across delivery teams.
- Ability to coach and upskill teams and stakeholders, helping transition from traditional or low-maturity delivery models into effective Agile ways of working.
- Strong experience supporting backlog management and prioritisation, working closely with Product Owners and Business Analysts to improve story quality and delivery outcomes.
- Expertise in identifying and removing impediments, managing cross-team dependencies and maintaining delivery momentum.
- Experience using JIRA and Confluence to manage workflows, reporting, dashboards and delivery tracking.
- Ability to define and leverage Agile metrics (eg, throughput, cycle time, forecasting) to improve predictability and transparency.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences.
- Comfortable working in regulated enterprise environments with governance, controls, and multiple vendors.
