Summary: The Expert Scientific Writer role involves managing and completing high-quality Medical Communications deliverables within set timelines. The position requires expertise in therapeutic areas and the ability to produce various scientific documents, including manuscripts and presentations. The writer will collaborate with internal teams and clients, ensuring compliance with industry standards and quality control. This is a 6-month on-site contract based in Tadworth, UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and complete assigned Medical Communications deliverables.
• Research and write original content for publication activities.
• Prepare meeting materials and reports for symposia and advisory boards.
• Ensure scientific accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
• Perform quality control and proofreading as needed.
• Communicate medical scientific concepts clearly and effectively.
• Follow internal processes and industry best practices.
• Develop and adhere to timelines with service teams.
• Participate in strategic publications planning and research.
• Mentor junior colleagues and support performance management.
• Maintain project records and ensure compliance with audits and SOPs.
• Perform additional work-related tasks as assigned.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in medical communications.
• Strong scientific and medical writing skills.
