Science Lecturer

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons to Level 2 and Level 3 learners.
• Teach across a range of Science subjects, with a focus on Chemistry where possible.
• Plan, prepare and assess learning programmes in line with curriculum requirements.
• Monitor learner progress and provide timely feedback and support.
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement activities.

Essential Requirements

• Teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS, Cert Ed or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Science within Further Education, secondary education, or vocational settings.
• Strong subject knowledge in Science.
• Ability to motivate and engage learners of varying abilities.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
