Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons to Level 2 and Level 3 learners.
- Teach across a range of Science subjects, with a focus on Chemistry where possible.
- Plan, prepare and assess learning programmes in line with curriculum requirements.
- Monitor learner progress and provide timely feedback and support.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement activities.
Essential Requirements
- Teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS, Cert Ed or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Science within Further Education, secondary education, or vocational settings.
- Strong subject knowledge in Science.
- Ability to motivate and engage learners of varying abilities.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
