Summary: Experienced Scrum Master/Agile Coach needed to lead multiple teams in a scaled Agile environment, focusing on embedding Agile practices and fostering collaboration. The role is crucial for enabling teams to deliver value effectively while aligning with organizational goals and frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS, or the Spotify model. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving continuous improvement and coaching teams. This position is available in either London or Edinburgh with a hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a leader and coach for multiple Agile teams, enabling them to adopt, mature, and continuously improve Agile ways of working.
- Facilitate key Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives, PI Planning, etc.) across teams and at scale.
- Guide teams and stakeholders in applying scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, or equivalent) to ensure alignment across the organisation.
- Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Partner with Product Owner, Product Manager, Development Teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of team deliverables with business objectives.
- Identify, manage, and help remove impediments that hinder delivery across teams.
- Measure and report on Agile metrics (velocity, predictability, quality, flow), Monthly status reports and billing reports, etc. to track progress and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Coach leaders, stakeholders, and team members on Agile mindset, principles, and practices.
- Drive continuous improvement through experimentation, retrospectives, and sharing best practices across teams.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a scaled Agile environment, leading multiple teams simultaneously.
- Deep understanding of Agile principles, frameworks, and practices (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS, etc.).
- Strong facilitation and coaching skills to guide teams and stakeholders in Agile adoption and maturity.
- Experience in large, complex organisations where cross-team coordination and stakeholder management are critical.
- Excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, and leadership capabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence at all levels of the organisation.
- Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, or equivalent.
- Relevant certifications (eg, SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), PSM II/III, CSP-SM, SAFe RTE, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
