Summary: The SCADA Senior Engineer role focuses on overseeing SCADA architecture and integration for a significant offshore wind project in Germany. Key Responsibilities:
- SCADA Architecture & Integration for monitoring and control across wind turbines and related systems.
- Implement and validate telecontrol communication between offshore platforms and control centers.
- Align SCADA signal lists and controls with TSO grid connection rules.
- Support commissioning and acceptance testing at converter stations and offshore platforms.
- Ensure compliance with Energy Industry Act obligations and cybersecurity controls.

Key Skills:

SCADA Senior Engineer for a major Offshore Wind Project based in Germany
Responsibilities
- SCADA Architecture & Integration, to ensure interoperable monitoring and control across wind turbines, substation IEDs, meteorological systems, and the plant management system.
- Implement and validate telecontrol communication between offshore platforms, RTUs/IEDs, and the central control center; configure ASDU/IOA addressing, sequence control, and event reporting.
- Grid Connection & Interface with TSOs, align SCADA signal lists, alarms, and controls with TSO grid connection rules
- Support commissioning and acceptance testing at onshore converter stations and offshore platforms, consistent with AC/HVDC connection concepts applied in German offshore grids.
- Ensure SCADA and OT networks comply with Energy Industry Act obligations on offshore grid connection planning/execution and TSO responsibilities.
- Implement cybersecurity controls and KRITIS requirements and track evolving NIS2 implementation under the revised BSI Act
