Summary: The role of SCADA Project Manager involves overseeing technical projects related to SCADA and IT networks within a large-scale transformation programme. The position requires strong project management skills, particularly in waterfall methodologies, and excellent stakeholder management abilities. The successful candidate will ensure timely and quality delivery of network-related components while collaborating effectively with various teams. This is a 12-month hybrid contract based in the West Midlands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and close network-related projects within the transformation programme, adhering to waterfall methodologies.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ideally using MS Project.
• Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including engineering leads, architects, programme team members, and change teams.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders through regular meetings, updates, and documentation.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, risk logs, and change requests.
• Ensure adherence to project governance standards and auditable processes.
• Maintain accurate project records.
• Work closely with other project managers to ensure effective dependency mapping, change management, and overall programme coordination.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of programme-wide best practices and methodologies.
• Assist with change management activities related to network projects.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience in managing technical projects/programmes related to SCADA networks and/or IT networks (WAN, LAN, etc.).
• Strong understanding of waterfall project management methodologies.
• Proficiency in using MS Project for project planning and tracking.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in managing multiple stakeholders and facilitating effective collaboration.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
