Summary: The role of Scada Engineer with GE Experience involves customizing and delivering Energy Management Systems, particularly e-terra AEMS for Reliance. Key Responsibilities:
- Customize and deliver Energy Management Systems, preferably e-terra AEMS - Reliance.
- Develop and maintain software using C++, Java, or other related languages.
- Design and develop Client's AEMS Reliance source.
- Implement electric utility industry practices.
- Manage LINUX and Windows Operating Systems.
- Utilize C, Java, Oracle Database SQL, and shell scripting for system operations.
- Install operating system patches and third-party software like Oracle and NetApp.
- Configure systems and gain hands-on experience in GitHub and ClearCase.
- Install fixes on live customer systems.
- Analyze, identify, and resolve problems effectively.
- Demonstrate strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Utilize MS Office applications and MS Outlook competently.
- Leverage experience with Reliance (formerly XA/21).
- Apply object-oriented programming techniques and system administration knowledge as a plus.
