Summary: The PowerOn Specialist role focuses on configuring, supporting, and maintaining connections with the PowerON Advantage system to extract and store data in a cloud database. The position requires hands-on experience with PowerOn platforms and integration with various IT and OT systems. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential for collaborating with engineering, operations, and IT teams. Knowledge of electric distribution systems and telecontrol communication protocols is desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, support, and maintain connection methods with the PowerON Advantage system.
- Extract data from digital and analogue variables and events for storage in a cloud database.
- Integrate Power-On with other IT and OT systems, particularly Historian Systems.
- Utilize telecontrol communication protocols such as IEC 61850, DNP3, Modbus, IEC 101/104, ICCP.
- Manipulate and customize data using SQL and/or Python within PowerOn.
- Support control room operations in real time.
Key Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with PowerOn Control and/or PowerOn Advantage platforms.
- Proven experience integrating with databases and knowledge of data structure.
- Knowledge of electric distribution systems (MV/LV) is desirable.
- Experience with telecontrol communication protocols.
- Proficiency in SQL and/or Python for data manipulation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with teams.
