Summary: iO Associates is seeking an SC & NPPV3 Cleared Cloud Engineer to design, build, and maintain secure cloud environments for critical national services. The role requires strong expertise in Azure and various cloud technologies, with a focus on security and automation. The position is based in Birmingham and offers a competitive daily rate. The contract is for 6 months with potential extensions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain secure cloud environments.
- Drive strategic initiatives within a secure environment.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or ARM templates.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with cloud security principles and identity management.
- Collaborate in a mission-driven environment to solve complex problems.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience with Azure (certifications desirable).
- Proficiency in IaC tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or CloudFormation.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
- Solid understanding of networking, identity management, and cloud security principles.
- Familiarity with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a secure, mission-driven environment.
