SC DevOps Engineer

Summary: The role involves working as an SC cleared DevOps engineer for a consultancy, contributing to a public sector project until the end of September. The position requires active security clearance and includes travel to Newcastle. The candidate should have experience in mentorship and a strong technical background in various DevOps tools and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage AWS services including EC2, load balancing, and networking.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and serverless frameworks.
• Utilize configuration management tools such as Ansible and Packer.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab, Jenkins, and SonarQube.
• Write and maintain scripts in Python, Bash, Node.js, Java, and Groovy.
• Work with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Provide mentorship to team members.

Key Skills:

• Active SC clearance.
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Knowledge of configuration management (Ansible, Packer).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube).
• Strong coding/scripting skills (Python, Bash, Node.js, Java, Groovy).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Mentorship experience.

Salary (Rate): £425/day
