Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) transformation across the Digital Engineering function.
- Define and execute the transformation strategy, roadmap and adoption plan.
- Establish the future-state engineering methodology, standards, governance and best practices.
- Shape and evolve the Digital Engineering toolchain strategy to support enterprise-wide MBSE adoption.
- Drive organisational change across engineering teams, ensuring successful adoption of new engineering practices and ways of working.
- Engage and influence senior engineering, programme and executive stakeholders to secure alignment and commitment.
- Build capability across the engineering community through coaching, mentoring and leadership.
- Develop and manage transformation metrics, outcomes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure alignment between engineering practices, programme delivery and business objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on Digital Engineering and MBSE transformation strategy.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience leading Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) transformation programmes within large, complex engineering organisations.
- Demonstrable track record of delivering engineering transformation initiatives at scale.
- Strong understanding of Digital Engineering principles, systems engineering methodologies and organisational change.
- Experience defining engineering operating models, governance frameworks, methodologies and toolchain strategies.
- Ability to lead large-scale change across multiple engineering disciplines and stakeholder groups.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior leaders and executive audiences.
- Strong strategic thinking, communication and leadership capabilities.
- Experience working within complex, highly regulated engineering environments.
- Previous experience within Defence, Aerospace, National Security, Government or similarly regulated sectors is highly desirable.
- Consultancy experience leading major transformation programmes is advantageous.

- Active SC Security Clearance is essential.
- UK Sole National is essential.
Contract Details
- Rate: Up to £900 per day
- Duration: Initial 6-month contract
- Engagement: Inside IR35
- Location: Reading (2 days per week onsite)
