Job description - the role

On behalf of PwC, we are looking for a SC Cleared Test Manager (Data Testing) for a 3 months contract based in UK (Hybrid 2-3 times per week in the office, any PwC office).

As Test Manager you will join the Client's growing Quality Engineering team, supporting large-scale digital transformation programmes across multiple industries. In this client-facing consulting role, you will work on testing activities across complex technology implementations, ensuring quality outcomes through effective planning, governance, stakeholder management, and collaboration with distributed delivery teams.

What you'll do:

• Manage the testing workstream across complex transformation programmes and technology implementations.
• Define and implement test strategies, governance frameworks, and quality assurance processes aligned to client objectives.
• Oversee end-to-end test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting across multiple testing phases.
• Coordinate and manage onshore, offshore, and third-party testing teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Collaborate with programme leadership, business stakeholders, and vendors to drive quality-focused outcomes.
• Promote the adoption of test automation, AI-enabled testing approaches, and CI/CD best practices to improve efficiency and quality.

Candidate Profile: Key accountabilities, skills & experience: The skills you'll need:

• Proven experience as a Test Manager delivering large-scale technology or business transformation programmes.
• Active SC Clearance
• Experience with Data Testing, including validation of data files, databases, tables, and outputs.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, including SIT, UAT, Non-Functional Testing, and Test Governance.
• Understanding of Azure, test automation frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Awareness of AI-driven testing tools and modern Quality Engineering practices.
