Summary: The role of Senior IT (Data Centre Break/Fix) Engineer requires an SC Cleared professional to join a team of engineers supporting various customer accounts in the London area, particularly in government and banking sectors. Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver basic Wintel server support including installation, configuration, administration, and hardware repairs.
- Support a variety of hardware and software platforms, accredited through vendor training (e.g., HP, Dell, Lenovo).
- Occasionally drive a customer-supplied vehicle to satellite sites - clean driving license required.

- Hands-on experience with server break/fix in a data centre environment.
- Desktop & Mobile Support: Windows 10/11, macOS, Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Apple and Android devices.
- System Administration: OS navigation, desktop shortcuts, printer setup, network mapping.
- Server & Data Centre Experience with HP ProLiant, Dell servers, Lenovo blades.
- Backup systems, tape libraries, storage configuration, and hardware support.

About The Role
You'll be part of our Ring Fenced Team (RFT) , a group of 15 engineers supporting the London area. The team provides cover for sickness, holidays, resource-on-demand requests, and project work across multiple customer accounts-including government and banking sectors. Due to the nature of these clients, Security Clearance (SC) will be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide intermediate to advanced desktop support including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and break/fix services.
- Deliver basic Wintel server support including installation, configuration, administration, and hardware repairs.
- Support a variety of hardware and software platforms, accredited through vendor training (e.g., HP, Dell, Lenovo).
