The Role
Due to an exceptionally high volume of project activity, we're looking for a hands-on Project Manager who can quickly integrate into the team and take ownership of multiple IT projects from initiation through to delivery.
This is very much a delivery-focused role requiring someone who can drive outcomes, remove blockers, engage stakeholders, and ensure projects maintain momentum. The emphasis is on getting projects delivered rather than adhering to a specific project methodology.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end ownership of IT project delivery
- Management of RAID logs, project plans and reporting
- Stakeholder management and project communications
- Driving decisions and removing delivery blockers
- Coordinating technical and business teams to ensure successful outcomes
- Managing multiple concurrent projects within a fast-paced environment
- Ensuring delivery objectives are achieved within agreed timescales
Key Skills Required
- Proven experience delivering IT infrastructure and technology projects
- Strong Project Management experience with a focus on execution and delivery
- Experience across Waterfall, Agile (Scrum) and Hybrid delivery environments
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Microsoft Project experience
- JIRA experience, particularly within Agile delivery environments
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and strong ownership
Technical Environment
- Microsoft technologies and infrastructure projects
- COTS applications
- Cyber Security projects
- Some Linux-based environments
- JIRA and Microsoft Project
Soft Skills
- Strong delivery focus and accountability
- Proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to operate in a high-volume delivery environment
- Self-sufficient and capable of quickly adding value
- Comfortable challenging stakeholders and driving decisions where required
