Required Skills
Devops
o Linux (Redhat, RPMs, SELinux, filesystems, users/groups, systems management)
o Ansible
o Git (Github, Actions CI, repositories, branches, merge requests/code reviews, etc)
o General networking, IP Addressing, CIDRs, TCP/IP, TLS certificates, etc.
o Running and working with Java applications, JVMs, processes etc.
o Nginx (primarily as a Proxy)
o Performance management (CPU/disk/memory sizing, etc)
o Knowledge of OpenVPN, SSH and of Client Server configuration.
AWS (Admin)
o EC2 instances, ASGs, Load Balancers, Target Groups
o IAM roles, policies, Instance Profiles, permissions etc.
o Mutli-account operations (assuming roles, working with multiple accounts)
o Secrets Manager
o Systems Manager
o Terraform/OpenTofu

o Able to implement security at every layer of a system stack, understanding what is likely to be an acceptable level of security, depending on the situation
