Summary: The role of Network Engineer involves delivering critical network solutions for a leading consulting services organization. The position requires expertise in network engineering, including the creation of low-level designs and configuration of core infrastructure components. Candidates must possess active SC clearance and have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. The role is based onsite in Barrow-in-Furness for a duration of 6 months, with a minimum commitment of 4 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creating Low Level designs from approved High Level Design
• Configuring core infrastructure components e.g. Data Centre Fabric, Access/Distribution Switches, routers, WAN, firewalls, load balancers, Authentication servers, Wifi controllers, management tooling
• Performing impact assessments on large or complex networks

Key Skills:

• 4+ years of Network engineering experience
• Network Architecture / Architecture (Compute/storage/End User)
• Network Design (HLD/LLD)
• Cisco Networking (Routing/Switching)
