Summary: The SC Cleared M365 Engineer role involves providing Level 2 support for Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments, focusing on incident resolution, system monitoring, and service improvements. The position requires strong technical skills in Microsoft 365 administration and familiarity with Google Workspace tools. The role is based onsite in Stevenage and is offered as a 3-month contract through an umbrella company. Immediate start is available for qualified candidates with active SC clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Level 2 incident management and response in line with agreed SLAs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalations from L1 engineers across M365 and Google Workspace.
- Manage monthly patch deployment and ensure endpoint patch compliance.
- Monitor the health and performance of SCCM servers, applications, and underlying infrastructure.
- Support upgrades and maintenance of applications such as Power BI.
- Perform regular system housekeeping and preventive maintenance activities.
- Assist with BCP and DR planning and execution.
- Gather requirements for application enhancements and customisations.
- Produce daily, weekly, and monthly system reports.
- Provide user support and account management across Gmail, GMeet, GDrive, GChat, Google Editors, and M365 services.
- Handle Google case management at a basic level and identify ITIL process gaps when needed.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365 administration, including PowerShell scripting, SharePoint administration, OneDrive management, Security and account management.
- Knowledge of Google Workspace tools: Gmail, GMeet, GDrive, GChat, Docs, Sheets, Slides.
- Experience with SCCM, patching, monitoring, and endpoint management.
- Understanding of ITIL processes and incident management workflows.
- Collaborative team player with strong customer-service focus.

We are seeking an experienced M365 Engineer to provide Level 2 support, manage incident resolution, and ensure the stability, security, and performance of our Microsoft 365 environment. The role involves troubleshooting, patch management, system monitoring, and supporting continuous service improvements. Experience with Google Workspace is also beneficial, as the role includes basic administration and user support across both platforms.
