Summary: The role of SC Cleared Linux Engineer requires a candidate with live SC Clearance and experience in C or C++. The engineer will support missile-system middleware solutions, focusing on debugging and engineering investigations within a collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Support in-service missile-system middleware solutions.
- Investigate and fix software issues as they arise.
- Configure and maintain Linux Operating Systems (Redhat and/or Ubuntu).
- Engage in debugging and engineering investigations of complex software.
- Communicate technical matters clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve emerging issues.
Key Skills:
- Live SC Clearance.
- Experience with C or C++ (essential), Ada, and/or JavaScript, shell scripting languages.
- Experience configuring and maintaining Linux OSs, including Kernel configuration.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills for technical discussions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
