SC Cleared IT Project Manager

Our Security monitoring, Managed detection & response client is looking for an SC Cleared IT Project Manager to work on a number of existing projects across multiple customers.

Location: Mixture of customer sites and WFH, mainly WFH.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead concurrent IT infrastructure and cybersecurity projects across multiple customer environments.
• Deliver onboarding, migration and deployment projects for managed SOC, threat-detection and incident-response services.
• Coordinate technical teams, security analysts, engineers, customers and third-party suppliers.
• Manage project plans, budgets, resources, dependencies, risks, issues and change controls.
• Run customer meetings and provide clear progress reports to technical and senior stakeholders.
• Ensure projects meet security, service-transition, governance and compliance requirements.
• Support handover into 24/7/365 operations, including documentation, acceptance criteria and operational readiness.
• Work appropriately with sensitive information in secure or classified customer environments.

Skills and experience required

• Current, transferable UK Security Check (SC) clearance.
• Strong track record of delivering complex IT infrastructure or cybersecurity projects for multiple customers.
• Knowledge of infrastructure technologies such as networks, cloud platforms, servers, identity and access management, firewalls and security tooling.
• Strong project controls, risk management, stakeholder management and supplier-management skills.
• Experience of Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methods; PRINCE2, APM or PMP certification may be preferred.
• Understanding of ITIL service transition and change-management practices.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical detail into clear business updates.
• Comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced, customer-facing managed-service environment.

Desirable

• Familiarity with SOC, SIEM, EDR/XDR, vulnerability management or managed detection and response services.
