Summary: The role of SC cleared Delivery Manager (FSS) involves overseeing the full systems/software development life cycle, ensuring successful delivery through effective planning and resource management. The position requires active SC clearance and a strong focus on customer relationships while managing multiple projects simultaneously. The role is based in London with a hybrid working arrangement, requiring in-office attendance twice a week. The contract duration is six months, and the position is classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full systems/software development life cycle, selecting appropriate methodologies for successful delivery.
- Plan and deliver major, minor, and small changes using suitable delivery management methodologies.
- Identify and secure resource supply effectively.
- Manage project/programme budgetary and financial aspects.
- Work well under pressure, demonstrating clear and logical thinking in challenging situations.
- Maintain strong customer focus and manage customer relationships effectively.
- Handle multiple in-flight projects simultaneously, ensuring high standards of completion.
- Utilize Jira & Confluence or similar tools for project management.
- Implement Agile and other industry initiatives for quality and process improvement.
- Manage Application Development, Application Support, or Infrastructure Delivery teams.
- Oversee resource and workload management.
- Control budgets and manage third-party services.
- Identify and implement improvement opportunities across services and processes.
- Possess general knowledge of IT Application and Infrastructure areas.

Technical Skills and Requirements
- Experienced in the full systems/software development life cycle, including selection of the appropriate methodology to deliver successfully through each stage
- Proven track record of planning and delivering major, minor and small change using appropriate delivery management methodology, learning and iterating your approach in order to react to evolving challenges
- Proven to be adept at identifying and securing resource supply
- Previous experience project/programme budgetary and financial management
- Proven track record of working well under pressure with clear, logical thinking in challenging situations
- Strong customer focus and an excellent ability to manage customer relationships; working with the team to understand technical solutions and effectively communicate this to a wider audience
- Proven track record of being able to work on multiple in-flight projects at the same time, ensuring all are completed to a high standard
- Good working knowledge of Jira & Confluence or similar packages
- Knowledge of Agile and other industry wide initiatives that promote quality and process improvement.
- Experience of working with/Matrix managing an Application Development, Application Support or Infrastructure Delivery teams
- Experience in resource and workload management
- Experience in budget control
- Experience of managing third parties and outsourced services
