Summary: The SC Cleared Automation QA Tester role involves defining and delivering a comprehensive test strategy for a high-profile digital service within a product-focused organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Define the overall test strategy, covering unit, integration, regression, and non-functional testing.
- Design and implement the approach for load and performance testing.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements to align with testing objectives.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies and wider delivery meetings.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders for approvals and technical engagement.
- Work with engineers to establish effective unit-testing practices and meet coverage targets.
- Conduct discovery, impact assessments, stakeholder engagement, and create relevant Jira tickets.
- Partner with user researchers and service designers to incorporate user feedback into testing.
- Capture, triage, and track issues raised by end users through to resolution.
- Support the technical leads and architects in delivering backlog items.
- Prepare and execute test scripts as required.
