Summary: The Satellite AIT Electrical Systems Engineer is responsible for preparing and executing test procedures for satellite systems during various test campaigns. This role involves debugging test sequences, providing technical support during test operations, and contributing to non-conformance reviews. The engineer will also develop automatic test procedures and ensure adherence to company standards throughout the testing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of test procedures and debugging test sequences for satellite system testing.
- Providing first-line support to the test operations team during spacecraft tests.
- Writing test reports and supporting test reviews, including non-conformance reviews.
- Development and debugging of Automatic Test procedures using bespoke software languages.
- Executing spacecraft system investigations based on Non-Conformance Review Board actions.
- Maintaining adherence to company and departmental procedures and standards.
Key Skills:
- Hands-on experience in writing test sequences/scripts for spacecraft tests.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Elisa, JAVA, C, Java, Python, TCL, and VBA.
- Familiarity with TMTC databases and spacecraft systems/subsystems.
- Competence in using electrical measurement test equipment.
- Understanding of system testing and verification processes.
- Ability to work with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Willingness to support shifts and flexible working hours.
