Summary: The SAS Operations Data Engineer will join the Ops Engineering team at Tesco Bank, focusing on enhancing data delivery and automation within the Smarter Decisioning Platform. This role involves collaborating with colleagues to manage data flows and ensure optimal service to business-facing teams. The position is initially contracted for six months and emphasizes problem-solving and continuous improvement in data operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside colleagues within the Smarter Decisioning Platform team to deliver excellence through data within the Ops Engineering team.
- Participate in scheduling, operating, and automating data flows that create business-used marts within the bank.
- Interface with business-facing teams to ensure the best service possible.
- Demonstrate extensive problem-solving skills, reporting queries, and analysis.
- Focus on safe delivery of data with an emphasis on continuous improvements and automation.

- SAS experience - with advanced techniques.
- DI studio experience.
