Summary: The role of SAS SME (Subject Matter Expert) focuses on providing expert knowledge and support for SAS platforms within the Banking and Analytics segment. The position requires extensive experience in SAS architecture and cloud services, particularly AWS, to facilitate large-scale migrations and transitions. The role is hybrid, requiring 3-4 days per week onsite in Milton Keynes, and is offered as a 7-month contract under an umbrella company, classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert knowledge and support for SAS platforms, including SAS 9 and SAS Viya.
- Deliver large-scale SAS migrations, cloud transitions, or platform repointing initiatives.
- Utilize strong expertise in SAS architecture, including CAS, Visual Analytics, and Model Manager.
- Implement cloud-based data architectures using AWS services.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulatory and security requirements.
- Communicate effectively and manage stakeholders as a senior SME.
