Summary: The ITSM Technical Specialist role is a contract position focused on overseeing the implementation and configuration of ITSM tools to enhance service delivery. The specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine ITSM processes and provide training and support to staff. This position requires a strong understanding of ITIL best practices and experience with ITSM tools like ServiceNow. The role is based in Jersey with remote working options available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the implementation and configuration of ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Ivanti, etc.) to ensure optimal service delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine ITSM processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ITSM tools, providing expert guidance and solutions.
• Maintain system configurations and integrations, ensuring compliance with internal standards and best practices.
• Provide training and support to staff on ITSM processes, tools, and policies.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts, driving automation and process enhancements within the ITSM framework.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience with ITSM tools, preferably ServiceNow or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) best practices and frameworks.
• Experience in designing, implementing, and managing ITSM processes.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant ITSM certifications (ITIL, ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist) preferred.
