Summary: The Test Manager will lead the establishment of a Quality Assurance Centre of Excellence (CoE) while overseeing testing for major ERP projects, particularly in SAP. This role involves setting best practices, facilitating continuous improvement, and collaborating with project teams to ensure testing excellence. The position requires a strong background in ERP test management and effective communication skills to mentor and guide QA resources. The role is based in the UK with travel to Manchester required weekly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and establish the QA CoE for our region, setting up best practices, frameworks, and standards.
- Chair CoE meetings, share insights and lessons learned, and drive continuous improvement across QA teams.
- Oversee test management activities for ERP projects (ideally SAP, but experience with any large ERP is welcome).
- Collaborate with delivery and project teams to ensure testing excellence and governance.
- Champion QA standards, manage test planning and defect resolution, and provide quality reporting to stakeholders.
- Initially, the role will be split 50/50 between project delivery and CoE setup.
- After a few months, it will transition to primarily test management (80-90%) with continued CoE leadership responsibilities.
- This is not a line management position, but you'll provide mentorship, structure, and direction to QA resources within the CoE.
- Based in the UK, with travel required to Manchester (ideally once per week).
- Two-week notice period preferred.

- Excellent communicator and facilitator who can unite teams and influence at all levels.
