Summary: The SAP Test Manager role involves leading the end-to-end testing lifecycle for a large-scale European SAP S/4HANA rollout within a logistics and supply chain organization. This hands-on delivery position requires expertise in managing testing processes in a complex ERP environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining test strategies, coordinating UAT, and ensuring effective communication across teams. This contract position is outside IR35 and offers hybrid working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the end-to-end SAP testing lifecycle across the programme
- Define and initiate test strategy, plans, scope, and entry/exit criteria
- Develop and oversee test scripts, execution, and overall delivery
- Manage UAT coordination with business stakeholders across multiple locations
- Drive defect management, reporting, and resolution tracking
- Oversee test environments and data readiness
- Ensure clear communication and alignment across IT and business teams
- Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies within testing
- Continuously improve test processes, governance, and documentation
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as an SAP Test Manager on S/4HANA programmes
- Strong background in end-to-end testing delivery within ERP environments
- Demonstrable experience in test strategy, planning, and execution
- Experience managing UAT with business stakeholders
- Ability to operate in complex, multi-site programme environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

My client, a leading logistics and supply chain organisation, is currently delivering a large-scale European SAP S/4HANA rollout and is seeking an experienced SAP Test Manager to take ownership of end-to-end testing across the programme.
This is a hands-on delivery role, requiring someone who can lead, structure, and execute the full testing lifecycle within a complex ERP environment.
