Summary: The SAP Test Manager role at EG Group involves leading testing efforts for SAP projects within the Applications Center of Excellence. The position requires overseeing the full testing lifecycle, managing a team of testers, and ensuring compliance with IT governance policies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP testing and project management, particularly in automation and business process change management. This is a full-time, office-based position located in Blackburn, UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies for SAP implementations, upgrades, and changes.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and reporting of the full testing lifecycle including functional, integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Lead and mentor a team of testers, ensuring alignment with project timelines and quality standards.
  • Manage and track defects, prioritizing based on business impact.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to SAP testing and business process changes.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and systems.
  • Evaluate new technologies and methodologies for innovation and efficiency.
  • Conduct end-user training sessions and develop comprehensive documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with IT governance policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field.
  • Project Management certification (Prince2 or equivalent).
  • Experience with SAP ECC and S4 Hana.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in full cycle SAP Testing, with at least 3 years in a Test manager role.
  • Proven experience in SAP Testing processes including functional integration, system, and UAT testing.
  • Experience with Test Automation.
  • Knowledge of Data Migration strategies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
