SAP Technical Project Manager - Integration Workstream

Overview

We're looking for an experienced SAP Technical Project Manager to take ownership of the Integration workstream on a major SAP S/4HANA transformation programme within a UK manufacturing environment.

This is not a hands-on integration development role. Instead, you'll be responsible for managing the delivery of the integration workstream, ensuring third-party suppliers deliver to plan, coordinating internal technical teams, managing budgets, risks and dependencies, and driving the programme through to successful go-live.

You'll need to understand SAP integrations and technical delivery sufficiently to challenge vendors, manage delivery and make informed decisions, without personally designing or building interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the SAP Integration workstream across a large S/4HANA programme.
• Coordinate delivery across System Integrators, third-party vendors, infrastructure teams and internal IT.
• Manage project plans, milestones, risks, dependencies and budgets.
• Hold suppliers accountable for technical delivery, quality and timescales.
• Ensure integration, infrastructure and environment readiness ahead of testing and cutover.
• Coordinate SIT, UAT, cutover planning and hypercare activities.
• Report progress, risks and delivery status to Programme Leadership and SteerCo.
• Work closely with business stakeholders and site teams across multiple UK manufacturing locations.

Essential Experience

• Proven Technical Project Management experience on SAP S/4HANA implementation programmes.
• Experience managing SAP integration workstreams (rather than designing or developing integrations).
• Experience managing System Integrators and third-party delivery partners.
• Strong understanding of SAP integration concepts, Middleware and interface delivery.
• Experience managing infrastructure and technical workstreams, including environment readiness and server upgrades.
• Strong governance, RAID, budget and stakeholder management experience.
• Comfortable operating at SteerCo and senior leadership level.
