Summary: The SAP Technical Architect will work with a key client on a 6-month contract, primarily in a remote capacity with occasional visits to Worthing. This role involves understanding client requirements, developing architectural solutions, and ensuring alignment with overall architecture strategy. The architect will collaborate with Functional Consultants and Project Managers to manage technical scope and deliver high-complexity SAP implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and elaborate client requirements to develop architectural solutions.
• Oversee architectural solutions in individual projects and large delivery projects.
• Collaborate with Functional Consultants and Project Managers to scope work and understand business processes.
• Manage technical scope during projects, ensuring alignment with functional design.
• Review and scope technical/infrastructure projects for feasibility of delivery.
• Ensure consistency in technical and templated functional solutions.
• Manage technical relationships with vendors and subcontractors.

Key Skills:

• Knowledge of high-volume SAP solutions and technical architecture (ERP, Portal, PI).
• Ability to translate technical language to business language and vice versa.
• Experience in large scale Solution Architecture.
• SAP system sizing and landscape design expertise.
• Understanding of Non-Functional Requirements and their impact on solutions.
