Summary: The SAP Technical Architect will play a crucial role within the SAP Architecture team, focusing on understanding client requirements and developing appropriate technical solutions. This position involves overseeing architectural solutions for projects, ensuring alignment with overall architecture strategy, and managing technical relationships with vendors. The role requires collaboration with Functional Consultants and Project Managers to ensure successful project delivery and adherence to best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and elaborate client requirements to develop suitable technical solutions.
• Oversee architectural solutions for individual and large delivery projects.
• Collaborate with Functional Consultants and Project Managers to scope work and understand business processes.
• Manage technical scope during projects, ensuring alignment with functional design.
• Take ownership of architectural solutions and non-functional requirements.
• Review and scope technical/infrastructure projects for feasibility of delivery.
• Ensure consistency in technical and templated functional solutions.
• Manage technical relationships with vendors and subcontractors.

Key Skills:

• Knowledge of high-volume SAP solutions and technical architecture (ERP, Portal, PI).
• Ability to translate technical language to business language and vice versa.
• Experience in large scale Solution Architecture.
• Understanding of SAP system sizing and landscape design.
• Knowledge of Non-Functional Requirements and their impact on solutions.
• Ability to govern and assure technical delivery of complex SAP implementations.
