Summary: The SAP Specialist role in Basildon is a 6-month contract position focused on providing expert advice in SAP Production Planning. The specialist will design and develop solutions to enhance business processes, support data migration projects, and manage both internal and third-party suppliers. The position requires effective communication and problem-solving skills to deliver projects that meet business outputs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate as the subject matter expert in SAP Production Planning.
- Design and develop business/process enhancing solutions within SAP.
- Deliver early life support for new solutions and established in-house developed solutions.
- Add value to existing business processes by improving efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assist in the management of third-party and internal suppliers.
- Support data migration projects as required.
- Deliver projects from design to completion to achieve required business outputs.
- Influence and negotiate with key project stakeholders.
- Challenge and respond to process issues.
- Prioritize work to meet Service Level Agreements.
- Coordinate and supervise team activities.
- Take ownership of complex technical problems within specialty.
