As a contract SAP S/4HANA, you are hired to implement, migrate, and optimise SAP's next-generation ERP platform, which represents both a technological upgrade from the legacy SAP ECC platform and a business process transformation opportunity across finance, procurement, manufacturing, supply chain, and sales. S/4HANA's in-memory architecture, simplified data model, and Fiori user experience require significant functional reconfiguration alongside the technical migration, meaning that S/4HANA programmes are typically among the largest and most complex technology investments that an organisation undertakes. Contractors are engaged across functional design and configuration in the new platform, technical migration including data migration from ECC to S/4HANA, ABAP development for custom code adaptation, integration architecture for connecting S/4HANA with adjacent systems, and project and change management.
