Summary: The role of SAP S/4HANA Service Management Consultant focuses on supporting clients in their S/4HANA migration project, particularly in the Service Management module. The consultant will facilitate the transition from legacy systems to a service-oriented model, collaborating closely with Swedish-speaking business stakeholders. This position requires hands-on experience with SAP Service Management processes and methodologies. The role is hybrid and requires a valid EU passport for work eligibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the configuration, integration, and optimization of SAP Service Management (SM) processes, including service contracts, service orders, billing, and pricing.
- Drive the transition away from traditional Project WBS elements and PM work orders to the SM module.
- Participate in S/4HANA migration activities, including migration build, execution, historical data migration, and open items handling.
- Apply SAP Activate methodology throughout the project lifecycle (Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy, Run).
- Quickly understand and map field services business processes and operating model to SAP best practices.
- Collaborate with business users (primarily Swedish-speaking) to gather requirements, provide training/support, and ensure solution alignment with operational needs.
- Perform fit-gap analysis, design solutions, and support testing, cutover, and hypercare activities.
Key Skills:
- Fluent in Swedish (mandatory – main business users are Swedish-only).
- Proven experience in S/4 migration projects, particularly data migration (historical data and open items).
- Strong background in field services companies/industry to rapidly grasp business processes and operating models.
- Hands-on experience with the SAP SM module, including integration of service contracts, service orders, billing, and pricing.
- Solid experience with SAP Activate methodology.
- Deep understanding of integration points between SM and other modules (e.g., Finance, Sales, Materials Management).

Role Overview
Next Ventures are currently executing a search for an experienced SAP Consultant to support our clients S/4HANA migration project with a strong focus on the Service Management (SM) module. The role involves transitioning from legacy Project WBS and PM work orders to a modern service-oriented model using service contracts, service orders, billing, and pricing processes. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, primarily Swedish-speaking users, to ensure a smooth migration and effective adoption of the new system.

- Certification in SAP S/4HANA or Service Management.
