SAP S/4HANA Project Systems (PS) expert - Contract - Hybrid

Summary: The role is for an experienced SAP PS Consultant to enhance the S/4HANA Project Systems landscape, focusing on project accounting, revenue recognition, and cost control. The consultant will be responsible for configuring WBS structures, implementing settlement rules, and integrating with other financial modules. Collaboration across various departments is essential to improve project systems processes. This position is a contract role classified as outside IR35 and offers hybrid working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and optimize WBS structures, networks, milestones, and cost planning in SAP PS.
• Implement Results Analysis (RA) keys, milestone billing, and settlement rules (WBS, AUC, Cost Center).
• Align planned vs. actual cost tracking, budgeting, and availability control.
• Integrate PS with FI/CO, SD, P2P, and support IFRS-compliant project accounting.
• Enhance reporting using Fiori, CDS Views, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
• Collaborate across Finance, Procurement, and Operations to improve PS processes.

Key Skills:

• 5+ years of hands-on SAP PS experience, ideally in S/4HANA.
• Deep knowledge of RA keys, revenue recognition (POC/cost-based), and settlement logic.
• Proven expertise in project budgeting, structuring, and cost control.
• Familiar with Fiori apps, CDS Views, and SAC for Real Time reporting.
• Strong cross-functional integration skills (FI/CO, SD, P2P).
• Industry experience in manufacturing, engineering, or construction is a plus.
