We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled SAP S/4HANA Programme Manager to oversee and lead multiple global template rollouts for our SAP S/4HANA implementations.

This is an exciting opportunity to drive large-scale digital transformation initiatives across various regions and business functions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing SAP S/4HANA programmes, a proven track record in global template deployment, and the ability to align technology with business objectives on an international scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programme Leadership: Lead the end-to-end management of SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes, focusing on global template rollouts across multiple regions and business units.
  • Global Template Rollout Management: Oversee the development, configuration, and deployment of global SAP S/4HANA templates, ensuring consistency and alignment with business processes across all regions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with senior stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external partners, to ensure programme objectives are met, and expectations are aligned.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with SAP functional leads (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, HR, etc.), technical architects, and project managers to ensure that global templates are designed and implemented according to best practices.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify risks and issues across the global rollout, developing and executing mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and scope creep.
  • Timeline and Budget Management: Ensure that all programme deliverables are completed on time and within budget while maintaining a high quality of delivery. Manage resource allocation, timelines, and budgets across multiple projects.
  • Change Management & Training: Support change management efforts, working with business process owners to ensure successful adoption of the SAP S/4HANA solution. Oversee the development and delivery of training programs for end users.
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion continuous improvement by ensuring lessons learned from previous rollouts are applied to future phases and projects, ensuring ongoing enhancements in efficiency and quality.
  • Governance & Reporting: Establish and enforce governance frameworks, reporting mechanisms, and project tracking to ensure transparency and accountability across the programme. Provide regular progress updates to executive leadership.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven Experience in SAP S/4HANA Programme Management: At least 10-15 years of experience managing large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation programmes, specifically leading global template rollouts in complex, multi-region environments.
  • Global Rollout Expertise: Extensive experience in leading the deployment of global SAP S/4HANA templates across multiple geographies, ensuring alignment with regional business processes and local compliance.
  • Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors in a global setting.
  • SAP S/4HANA Technical and Functional Knowledge: Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA, including finance (FI/CO), supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, and other core modules. Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology is a plus.
  • Project Management Methodologies: Strong background in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project management methodologies, with experience in large-scale, complex programme delivery.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve complex project risks and issues while maintaining project scope, budget, and timelines.
  • Change Management Expertise: Proven experience in managing change within large-scale IT transformations, including developing change management strategies and overseeing user training and adoption.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Fluent in English (both written and spoken). Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership, business users, and technical teams across different regions.
  • Certifications: Project management certifications such as PMP, Prince2, or SAP S/4HANA certifications are highly desirable.

Desirable Attributes:

  • Experience working with SAP RISE and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
  • Previous experience in leading multi-industry SAP S/4HANA deployments, including finance, retail, manufacturing, and more.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
