Summary: The role of SAP S/4HANA Order to Cash (O2C) Functional Consultant involves supporting a major transformation programme within the manufacturing sector. The consultant will focus on testing, data validation, and deployment readiness, acting as a secondary subject matter expert alongside the O2C Lead. This position requires collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure the O2C process is fully tested and ready for go-live. The contract is initially for 12 months and is hybrid in nature.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for O2C
  • Assist with test script creation, execution, and defect logging
  • Validate migrated data (customers, sales orders, pricing, deliveries, invoicing)
  • Support cutover and deployment planning alongside data and PMO teams
  • Act as a functional bridge between business users and technical teams
  • Support business readiness, handover, and hypercare activities
  • Provide functional input into training materials and process documentation
  • Act as deputy/secondary SME within the O2C workstream

Key Skills:

  • Strong functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Order to Cash
  • Experience supporting testing, data validation, and deployment on SAP programmes
  • Exposure to manufacturing environments preferred
  • Comfortable working alongside lead consultants and business stakeholders
  • SAP ECC experience also considered if combined with S/4 exposure

We are supporting a manufacturing client on a major SAP S/4HANA transformation programme and are looking to engage an experienced O2C Functional Consultant to support the Order to Cash workstream.

This role will act as a secondary SME alongside the O2C Lead and is focused on testing, data validation, and deployment readiness, rather than core configuration.

Role Overview

You will work closely with business stakeholders, data teams, and the lead O2C consultant to ensure the end-to-end O2C process is fully tested, data is accurate, and the solution is ready for go-live.
