Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Finance representative within the S/4HANA programme, bridging Finance, IT, and the System Integrator
  • Lead process review and redesign, simplifying and standardising finance processes across multiple Legacy systems
  • Assess current ways of working and challenge whether processes are fit-for-purpose or Legacy-driven
  • Support requirements gathering, solution validation, and process mapping
  • Work closely with the SI to ensure solutions align with business needs and finance best practice
  • Support data migration, testing (SIT/UAT), and go-live preparation
  • Assist with training and post-go-live (hypercare) support

Key Skills:

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA preferred)
  • Strong background in financial accounting and finance operations
  • Experience working on SAP S/4HANA projects (ideally Public Cloud)
  • Ideally has worked as an end user or Finance SME, not purely an SAP consultant
  • Proven ability to bridge finance and technology teams

SAP S/4HANA Finance SME (Implementation Support) - Contract

Overview

We are looking for a Finance SME with SAP S/4HANA experience to support a major finance transformation programme, transitioning from multiple Legacy systems (including SAP Business One) into SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.

This is a business-facing role, sitting within Finance, focused on process design, improvement, and implementation support rather than hands-on SAP configuration.

The organisation is currently in a re-planning phase, making this a key opportunity to shape the Finance workstream from an early stage.
