Summary: The SAP S/4HANA Data Expert role involves supporting a global SAP S/4HANA programme by defining business data requirements and ensuring data integrity during migration. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the definition of business data requirements within the S/4HANA design process.
- Define and document S/4 Enterprise Data Standards.
- Ensure existing ECC data is fit for purpose for migration to S/4HANA.
- Engage proactively with the wider business and relevant partners.
- Ensure S/4 data design meets business requirements and aligns with SAP standards.
Key Skills:
- Significant experience and domain expertise in P&MM.
- Knowledge of business data requirements supporting process execution and analytics.
- Experience in change management and user education.
- Experience designing and implementing Data Standards for a global enterprise.
- Solid understanding of SAP transactions and reporting.

bluewaveSELECT have been engaged by a leading organisation to secure an experienced S/4HANA Data Expert to support a global SAP S/4HANA programme.
Overview:
The S/4HANA Data Expert is responsible for supporting on the definition of business data requirements within the S/4HANA design process, along with defining and documenting the S/4 Enterprise Data Standards and ensuring that existing ECC data is fit for purpose at the point of migration to S/4HANA for a defined group of data objects/processes.
The role is aligned to P&MM and is responsible for proactively engaging with the wider business (including data offices and governance forums) and other relevant partners to ensure that the S/4 data design meets business requirements, aligns to SAP standard where possible and that S/4HANA data can be used with confidence achieving a Quality Core.
Additional:
- Significant experience and domain expertise in P&MM. Proven knowledge of how business data requirements support process execution and analytics, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to business users.
- Experience on change management journey from current to future state data design including completion of deployment user education, change impact assessments and outline of critical use case examples.
- Demonstrable experience of designing and implementing Data Standards (MDM and definitions) for a global enterprise with significant geographical and functional footprint.
- SAP solid understanding across transactions and reporting in an SAP environment, including an understanding of how data integrates within an SAP architecture.
- S/4 HANA implementation programme experience required.
- Experience of Business/IT partnering for the implementation of Data Governance-related solutions.
- Experience with global working and across cultures.
- Demonstrate good communication skills with the ability to influence others.

- Experience in life sciences and healthcare.
- Experience in Data Governance.
- Experience in measuring, managing and improving Data Quality.
